APPENDICES

Here we will post additional materials to supplement our book MOTUL DE SAN JOSE: POLITICS, HISTORY AND ECONOMY IN A CLASSIC MAYA POLITY, such as the results of our ceramic analyses, including tables that could not be included in the monograph due to financial constraints. The first set of documents summarizes the first level of ceramic analysis carried out at Motul de San José. Melanie Kingsley, Ph.Dd, Brandeis University, is the author of these first summaries that she wrote in 2005-2006. Click here to view/download.

The second set of documents summarizes a more detailed modal analysis of the Late and Terminal Classic polychromes found at Motul de San José. Evalynn Rosado, Summer Research Assistant, Williams Archaeology Laboratory, is the author of these second summaries that she wrote in 2009. Parts 1, 2 & 3 are available in pdf format below, click to view/download.
